Thousands of azaleas are blooming at the United States National Arboretum in Washington, DC. It’s glorious. I visited Monday and made these photos. Spring is here!

The Florida Flame Azalea is my favorite. This is just a small sampling of what’s on display at the Arboretum. Peak bloom usually takes place around the end of April. However, there are usually some azaleas in bloom from early April until well into June.
